Citrus is our female golden sunglow stripe. The indistinct stripes she had as a hatchling have all faded to a lovely uniform orange. But it's the gold flecks that infuse every scale give her a golden glow that is especially noticable in direct early morning or late afternoon sunlight. She is such a unique and beautiful girl I paired her with Sunny D this year, and I am hopeful the progeny will inherit their bright yellow sides and Citrus's beautiful golden flecking.
